Carrissa Larsen
Owner & Outreach Coordinator
I am a crazy goat farmer/homesteader/blogger/true crime junkie living in southern Maine. When I’m not busy shoveling 20 feet of snow and dreaming of Hawaii, I’m a pretty boring homebody – I’d rather sit in a stall full of my favorite goats reading a good book than go out to a concert. You can usually find me pouring a new batch of soap, making some kind of elaborate food, plotting to build my perfect commune, or sewing a 14th century gown.
Oh yeah, and I have a two kids that I managed to rear into adulthood, all limbs intact (minus half a thumb, but who’s counting?).
Alisha Arnold
VP Of Brand
Hey there, I'm Carrissa's Sister, the one without the goats but I have a 5-year-old boy, does that count?
On the professional front, I'm all about the world of brand and content marketing. Crafting compelling stories, building engaging campaigns, and nurturing brands is what fuels my workday.
When I'm not immersed in the marketing world, you'll find me indulging in some personal passions. I'm an avid fan of Airbnb, skiing, and loose-leaf tea. And, I'm obsessed with "The Office" (actually we all are.)
While I may not be herding goats or sewing 14th-century gowns like my sister, I'm carving my own path through the world, one brand story at a time, and enjoying every moment of life's unique adventures with my little one.
Kaelyn McKay
Head Of Operations
I'm so excited to be joining the BiteMe team and working alongside my mom, Carrissa, as we grow this business! Having grown up on a dairy goat farm I am very excited to share my knowledge and experience as I take on this new role! As head of operations, I will be overseeing website management, moderating our holistic goat care Facebook group, producing your treats, and keeping you up to date on all our future endeavors!
A little about me, I just welcomed my first baby in July and spend most of my free time trying to keep my crazy corgi Toast out of trouble! I'm a big fan of all things spooky (I must get that from my mom) and am an avid Ghost Adventures watcher.
Toast and Winston
Emotional Support and Quality Control
When Toast and Winston aren't watching over the goats, they enjoy splashing in the pool and playing a good game of tug. Rest assured they are not just a couple of cute faces, they have extensive knowledge of how to herd goats and LOTS of experience eating treats. They will also be responsible for answering customer emails and keeping up morale in the workplace!
